There are four prestigious award categories, each with a winner and two highly commended awards:

Up Close and Personal

This category recognises the outstanding support provided to individual clients who have experienced or are experiencing vulnerability.

We want to hear your real life stories of how you identified a client who is/was experiencing vulnerability, describe the situation, how you supported them, how this was received by your client (and, where relevant, the wider family), the outcome and the current situation.

Tell us why you're proud of the outcome.

Please hide client identities by using a pseudonym or keeping anonymous.

Data and Technology
+

This category recognises the best use of data and technology to advance the customer vulnerability agenda.

Tell us how you've used your existing client data, or how you've gathered and stored new data, to advance your customer vulnerability agenda.

Tell us how you've used technology to identify or support clients experiencing vulnerability.

We're looking for practical uses of data. These can be steps to segment clients or highlight potential risks - you don't need to have created a new piece of artificial intelligence to win this award.

Company of the Year

This category recognises the outstanding progress within individual firms.

Tell us the whole story - the big and little picture.

Why does your firm deserve to be considered for this category?

Tell us about your policy development, your training and education across the firm, how you've helped your clients and your practical steps that are making a difference now or will do in the future.

Vulnerable Customer Champion

This category recognises a person who has gone the extra mile to encourage/support/develop team members within the firm to mobilise the customer vulnerability agenda.

You can nominate yourself or another colleague.

We're interested in hearing your story, to learn what you did. how you did it, how it was received by your colleagues.

We want to celebrate your achievements.

There will be three awards: Winner and two Highly Commended

Who can enter

The awards are open to business leaders and financial advice, paraplanner and support staff.

Firms can enter as many of the categories as they like. In the fourth category, Vulnerable Customer Champion, you can nominate yourself and/or other colleagues.

How to enter

The awards are easy to enter. You're already delivering excellence in supporting vulnerable customers - you just need to tell us about it.

Just complete the entry form for your chosen category/s and email it to us by 5pm Friday 30 July 2021.

Entries will be judged by industry experts and the results will be announced in September.
